ATL day two

Peaches and creme.

Let me first say that I knew I didn't know too much about Atlanta before I arrived: the Civil War, Coca-Cola, the great fire, Martin Luther King Jr., peaches, and Outcast. When I told my friends I was going to Atlanta they said I should bring them back something, so I told them I'd bring them back each a set of grills. After spending a little time here I've found that it has a very different personality then I had expected. I guess Mtv has taught me wrong.

I'm here at an educational technology conference with Adobe and it's been confrenctastic so far. Lots of lines, swag, badges, standing and oh yeah...fun. It's nice for me because I'm an Adobe Education Leader so I don't sell anything. I talk to other teachers about teaching, technology, and creative stuff. I also drink copious amounts of coffee, but I guess that's typical. The best thing about this sort of conference is that I get to meet other cool creative people and there's been loads of interesting ideas that have come out of it so far.

Adobe has treated us well. We're staying at the largest hotel in the city, the tallest building if fact. We also had a terrific dinner at a home-style place called South City. Maybe I haven't found the real Georgia people yet, but I've found the food and it's something special!
