San Francisco the cloudy city

Out and under the Golden Gate.

I spent a good deal of my trip at the Adobe offices learning the ins and outs of some of their new programs but I wasn't missing much because the fog came in and spent some quality time in the city. It was beautiful in its own right as it settled down over the buildings.

I spent a night cruising the bay in the San Francisco Spirit, a luxury yacht, and was lucky enough to see the fog lift for a few hours. The coast line is beautiful and it was great to sail along the coast of Alcatraz with Sea Lions swimming right behind us. The rock is really an interesting place to visit because it gives you chills like none other. You really feel the spirits of the inmates as you walk down the cold wet corridors into the mess hall.

The sunset over Sausalito was extraordinary as we slipped under the Golden Gate for an ant's eye few. It's a terrific way to see the city and lets you off in the wharf area where there are plenty of bars and clubs to check out.
