This trip felt like it was the right place at the right time. It was nice to visit my past and explore the culture, colors, and sounds of the country. Puerto Rico has an interesting blend of old and new and familiar and foreign. It goes well with the Buena Vista Social Club, Bob Marley, or Beyonce ("Imprescindible" played in every taxi).
Thanks to all the strangers who suffered through my Spanish and the cats and coquis who remind me I'm not in Kansas!
