What I love about Toronto, aside from the conversion rate (it's a much cheaper vacation), is it's non-Americanocity. I love Americana but I haven't been able to afford Europe so Toronto is like visiting Europe minor. Enough so that it was a bit bewildering at first, and that's not just the flight and lack of power mind you. There is a diverse and open-minded sense of culture throughout the city. There is terrific food everywhere and plenty high quality inexpensive coffee.
