Berkshires The trip out

The trip out of the Berkshires into New York was spectacular as the sun set over the trees. The pleasant weather in mid-April is not typical for the area so I lucked out in the timing. I stopped off for a walk through a nature trail to get a feel for the natural side of life in Massachusetts. The views are pristine and I love passing through the small towns (even though I began to long for New York coffee).

The little towns all had their own quirky personalities and I heard myself referred to as "a city slicker" which I suppose becomes more obvious the deeper into the woods I went. One of my favorite aspects of being alive on the planet is breathing the fresh air in these rural areas as I drive through with the window open. Sure I have a latte and the radio's blasting, but it doesn't mean I don’t love the mountains.
